Una startup che va più veloce, che unisce sport e tecnologia, che batte ogni record. Ecco la candidata ideale per la nuova call di SPIN Accelerator, il più grande acceleratore mondiale per startup dedicate allo sport promosso da Trentino Sviluppo in collaborazione con Hype Sports Innovation e Università di Trento.
L’iniziativa, quest'anno alla sua seconda edizione, nel 2018 ha riscosso l'interesse di 65 startupper italiani, ma anche statunitensi, israeliani, austriaci, estoni e francesi. I 24 team selezionati hanno partecipato a 130 ore di formazione con 30 mentor di profilo internazionale. SPIN Accelerator Italy ha quindi contribuito alla crescita di nuove realtà imprenditoriali nel campo sport-tech, dai sensori per migliorare lo stile della sciata alle applicazioni per i rapporti con i tesserati sportivi, dalla riabilitazione attraverso il gioco fino all’hockey virtuale.
Casa base dell’iniziativa è Progetto Manifattura, l’incubatore green di Trentino Sviluppo a Rovereto. Qui, le startup selezionate potranno svolgere un periodo di 16 settimane di incubazione gratuita con mentorship personalizzata, accesso a laboratori all'avanguardia e formazione specialistica. Al vincitore, eletto in occasione di un Demo Day rivolto agli investitori, un premio di 10 mila euro in denaro per l'acquisto di servizi e consulenze.

A startup that goes faster, that matches sports and technology, that breaks all the records. This is the ideal candidate for the new edition of SPIN Accelerator, the world-biggest sports startups accelerator, promoted by Trentino Sviluppo in collaboration with Hype Sports Innovation and the University of Trento.
The initative, at its second edition, in 2018 counted 65 participants amongst Italian but also American, Israeli, Austrian and Spanish startuppers. The 24 selected teams underwent 130 training hours with 30 international-level coaches and mentors. SPIN Accelerator Italy helped them to grow in the sport-tech field, developing technologies such as sensors for the improvement of skiing skills, gamificated rehabilitation, VR hockey and more.
Headquarter of the initiative is Progetto Manifattura, the green-tech hub of Trentino Sviluppo in Rovereto. There, selected startups will experience a 4-week free incubation path with a personalized mentorship, free access to top-notch laboratories and specialized training. The winner, selected during a demo day in which a number of investors will participate, will receive a 10 thousand euros prize to be spent on the services provided by Progetto Manifattura.
