E-Ranger Project

The e-Ranger Project is promoted by Trentino Sviluppo S.p.a. in partnership with the Natural Park Adamello Brenta, the University of Trento, TIM, Manfrotto, nVidia, Edmund Mach Foundation and MUSE. It has the aim of identifying companies that are able to design and implement a prototype, with a sustainable development perspective, of an unmanned system for the detection, monitoring, observation and analysis of environmental, geological, flora and fauna data, in protected natural areas. The expected result will be the creation of forecasting models capable of supporting policy-making decisions in the field of territory safeguard and emergencies management.

Recipients of the Project: Trentino Sviluppo is looking for companies that operate, as unique actors or as groups of companies (consortia or business groups), in the following thematic areas: i) data collection and analysis technologies ii) predictive mathematical and bio mathematical models for land control and changes in natural habitats, as well as for the integration of previous data with more recent data collected with new technologies iii) advanced vision systems for the automatic collection and analysis of hr images iv) data communication infrastructures for remote control of mobile infrastructures (e.g. unmanned vehicles) and fixed infrastructures (e.g. meteorological data collection stations) and for their management v) energy storage systems vi) analysis of new materials to adapt the instruments of observation and control to extreme conditions.

Application: companies or groups of companies interested in participating to the Project must complete the Expression of Interest form at https://agora.trentinosviluppo.it/

. Applications submitted by different channels (email/fax) will not be evaluated and immediately rejected.
Once in the platform follow these steps:
• Access to the platform;
• Register in the “e-Ranger” organization;
• Create your profile;
• Once the profile is activated, select the “e-Ranger” community and under the “Call for Paper” section compile the Expression of Interest.
